I’ve seen kids put
guns in each other’s faces.
Fun and games.
I’ve shared rose bowls
with top-of-classmates.
Straight fucking As.

I wouldn’t blame the Earth
for killing everything that drives.
Because people never beats car.
And I’m calling out humanity.
We need to sacrifice ourselves
because the trees can’t stay
if we keep parking on top of them.
If we keep cutting them down
to throw shade at the homeless.
